LG Unveils New Lifestyle TVs

The Consumer Electronics Show 2022 (CES) Is in a few weeks, and LG has sure been busy as it unveils two new series of lifestyle TVs designed to unify form and function. Its Objet Tv and StandbyME.

LG StandbyME: A 27-inch LCD TV on a pole offers excellent convenience and viewing comfort as it can operate wirelessly on an inbuilt battery for up to 3 hours. Also, it wheels around on its height-adjustable stand to any room in the house.

The screen can be detached, swiveled, tilted, and rotated in landscape and portrait orientation. StandbyME has a touchscreen interface that allows streaming apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube. It also supports NFC for smartphone mirroring. There’s a USB port for connectivity and at least one HDMI input and the back of the set has a textural fabric finish in Beige.

LG Objet TV:  a high-design OLED, Evo paneled TV that leans at a 5-degree angle on your wall instead of being mounted or put on a traditional stand.

It resembles a canvas and aesthetically blends into any indoor space. The remote can raise or lower the interchangeable fabric cover under the 65-inch screen, which comes in three colors, Beige, Redwood, and Green, all produced by Kvadrat, a Danish textile innovator.

The Objet TV has two modes: full view and line view. The fabric cover lowers to reveal the entire screen for maximum viewing when set to full view. Line view partially covers the display only to see a curated selection of lifestyle functions and widgets.

The OLED Evo panel used in the Objet tv offers an advanced peak brightness than LG’s older OLEDs3 and an inbuilt 80-watt, 4.2 channel sound system that “delivers a movie theater-like audio.”

The TV’s in-cable frame system allows for a seamless connection to external devices such as a cable set-top box or game console while maintaining its clean, modern lines. The TV can also be installed flat on the wall to blend with one’s space seamlessly.

LG has yet to announce the availability or pricing for the LG Objet TV (model 65Art90) and LG StanbyME (model 27Art10) but will unveil the new models fully at CES 2022 in Las Vegas.
