iPhone 14

For the past 15 years, Apple has launched a new line of phones that they believe will revolutionize the mobile phone world, and this year will not be any different as they plan to launch their latest mobile phone technology, the iPhone 14 line.

Apple is officially launching the iPhone 14 series today, the 7th of September, and will begin sales on the 16th of September

The lineup is:
  • iPhone 14
  • iPhone 14 Plus
  • iPhone 14 Pro
  • iPhone 14 Pro Max
  • Apple Watch Series 8
  • Apple Watch Pro
  • Apple Watch SE
  • Airpods Pro
  • Ipad (10th generation)

Here is what to expect from the latest Apple products.

Note: Not all listed features might be added

While the 14 and 14 Max kept the A15 processor, only the two pro models got the newly upgraded AI6 processor and up to 2 TB of storage space.

The pro models will also have an always-on display feature with an upgrade in the side case department from aluminium to titanium.

There will be an improvement to all the iPhone 14 cameras. The front camera will get a wider lens with autofocus, while the main cameras of the Pro models will go from 8k megapixels to 48k megapixels with a telephoto lens improvement.

There have also been some rumors that the WiFi 6E will be available on the iPhone 14 pro models, as well as a car crash detection mode that is rumored to be available on all iPhone 14 line devices.

With this mode, your phone will be able to determine if you have been involved in a car accident and will auto-dial 911 so that you can get immediate care.

This technology will be an improvement to the fall detection that is already available in apple watches.

Another fantastic feature coming to the iPhone 14 lineup is the satellite connectivity feature, which will simply allow users to send a limited call or text using the emergency satellite system from anywhere in the world, even without cell service.

Regarding the pricing of the new iPhone 14, it is no news that Apple will slightly increase the price of the phone above its predecessors.

Ming-chi Kuo, an Apple analyst, stated that the price of the iPhone 14 lineup would increase about 15% compared to the iPhone 13 lineup.

What do you think about the iPhone 14 that will be released today? Are you excited about it? Do you think the price is worth the upgrade?
