Apple Security Flaw

Apple issues an emergency security alert and users need to update their devices NOW.

Apple disclosed serious security vulnerabilities for iPhones, iPads and Macs. This security flaw could possibly allow attackers to take full control of these devices. Apple stated that it was “aware of a report that this issue may have been actively exploited,” but details on how many users has been affected was not provided.

Apple is set to launch the new iPhone 14 on September 7th.

Security experts have advised users to update affected devices, which includes iPhone6S and later models; several models of the iPad, including the 5th generation and later, all iPad Pro models and the iPad Air 2; and Mac computers running MacOS Monterey. Some iPod models are also affects.

Apple’s support page said that the second bug means malicious actors “may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges.”

Apple’s explanation of the security breach means a hacker could get “full admin access” to the device. That would allow intruders to impersonate the device’s owner and subsequently run any software in their name.

Hackers are also looking for security weakness on all electronic gadgets, so please do not click unknown links. To our iPhone users, did you notice any changes. Did you apply the update already. Please do so now.
