Imagine folding your cell phone in a sophisticated style without any alteration in functionality. What kind of flexibility would it take!
A Chinese company, Xiaomi, released the second generation of Mix Fold 2 on 11th August, a thin and fordable hand-held device with excellent features.
The Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 has a slight thickness of 5.4mm when unfolded, almost the width of the USB – C port, and a net weight of 262g depicting its lightweight.
Although Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 is presently the thinnest foldable device known so far after Huawei Mate Xs 2, which is 8.2mm thick, it is not the lightest device since it is heavier than Huawei Mate Xs 2 and other devices.
The Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 has a dimension of 161.1 × 73.9 × 11.2 mm when folded and 161.1 × 144.7 × 5.4 mm when unfolded.
The device is constructed with a 120Hz, 8.02in, 2K LTPO (Low – Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide) 20 AMOLED (Active – Matrix Organic Light – Emitting Diodes); this gives it a sharp image resolution.
The robust memory size of 12GB of RAM and storage from 256GB to 1TB affords it a high operating capacity and a 4500mAh battery for a longer discharging period designed with a special fast charging mode.
Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 is designed with a 50Mp camera using the Sony IMX766 sensor with a 13Mp ultra-wide, and 8Mp 2X telephoto also featured with the latest Android 12 operating system.
Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 is a definition of a ‘small but powerful device with extra portability. Notwithstanding, more is yet to come.
