Microsoft Teams is part of the many inventions by Microsoft. It is a collaboration platform that helps teams work virtually in the best possible way.
Microsoft created it in 2017, and it has since become one of the most popular virtual collaboration platforms for work, organizing time frames, and task tracking.
Over the years, Ms. Teams has constantly improved its user experience and how individuals communicate and collaborate in a secure virtual working environment, and they are not backing down now.
There are a lot of new features now available.
Firstly, There is a new dynamic that reduces the screen space of team members that are only joined through audio, and the main part of the screen is dedicated to individuals sharing content and joining the meeting through video.
There is also a light indicator showing the individual currently speaking or when an individual raises their hands during a meeting.
Secondly, a meeting mode, “Together mode,” brings team members into a 3D environment, e.g., an auditorium or a cafe, to promote virtual human interaction and a live caption that shows the name of the person presenting with a simple subtitle of their presentation.
There are a lot more revolutionary features coming to Microsoft Teams, such as a video messaging tool that will help team members send messages in the form of video clips that can be edited before sending.
Also, an “Excel Live,” which adds a live excel document where every team member can view, update, edit, and even create other files.
Finally, there is “Live Share” that helps developers share a dynamic version of what they are developing with other team members who can comment and edit and complete complex tasks together.
Microsoft Teams might be young, but they are making remote work more interactive and creating a better virtual work environment.
