Apple recently released a new version of the Mac Series known as the MacBook Air M2, which has some wonderful upgrades in the hardware and software and costs over $1,199 to acquire the base model.
It takes most of its physical design cues from the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros. Besides the ideal MacBook color, the Air M2 comes in two additional colors ( starlight and midnight). It has the same thin thickness in the front as in the back, which makes the laptop have this sleek and modern feeling to it.
It has a 13.6-inch display and a fantastic 1080p webcam that displays colors and images better. The speakers for the M2 are not visible on the deck like all other traditional Mac products; instead, they are integrated into the keyboard ( magic keyboard )and the display for a cleaner look.
It has a slightly different charging port design compared to the M1 Air. Also, it comes with a 35-watt MagSafe dual charger that can be upgraded to a 67-watt MagSafe charger, which can fast charge the Mac to 100% in about an hour.
Another amazing thing about the Air M2 physical design is that it does not have a physical fan and relies on a passive cooling system, which makes it a very quiet laptop.
The MacBook Air M2, which features the M2 chip, comes in more than one model, but the 16GB RAM, which can be configured up to 24GB, and 1TB ROM, is the best choice. It has a 13.6-inch 2560*1664 Liquid Retina display with 500 nits, an 8-core GPU, a 10-core CPU, and a 7150 mAh battery that can last up to 8–10 hours of continuous use and over 13 hours of video playback.
Fun Fact: The MacBook has no MacBook inscription on the body of the laptop.
