Zimbabwean Inventor Builds A Robocar

Pasi William Sachiti is a Zimbabwean entrepreneur and inventor based in the UK. He was born in Zimbabwe and moved to the UK at 16, He started his entrepreneurial career at 19 when he founded 123-Registration, a small domain registration company.

Not long after that, he founded another company, Clever Bins, a digital advertising bin powered by solar that made it into the BBC’s investment program but was unsuccessful.

The company later thrived after the competition as it launched in more than seven countries. In 2013, he sold MyCityVenue, an AI-driven experience platform that serves over 1.5 million users around the world, and it was acquired by the UK holiday company Secret Escapes in 2015.

After the secret escapes acquisition, he went to the university to study artificial intelligence and robotics at Aberystwyth University in Wales and decided to start another tech company, now known as the Academy of Robotics.

The Academy of Robotics is a UK-based startup tech company that is concerned with making next-level autonomous vehicles. With the Academy of Robotics, Sachiti started to build driverless cars in the UK using a combination of advanced robotics, numerical network processing, and driverless vehicle technologies.

The autonomous vehicle company that has worked on a robotics project called “Kar-go”. Kar-go is a self-driving delivery service car that uses driverless technology to solve the last-mile delivery problem.

The company collaborated with the UK’s vehicle licensing authority to produce this autonomous vehicle. Kar-go movement is possible through artificial intelligence, and the car can travel on the road at a speed of up to 96 km/h as it is powered by the famous Tesla battery.

It also has a software function that allows it to navigate on unmarked county roads smoothly, with or without the use of a GPS.

Kar-go is a modern-day miracle that was created by William Sachiti and his team of robotics experts and has been in smooth service across numerous delivery companies since its launch. With the kind of milestone this young Zimbabwean tech genius has achieved, it is only normal to expect another tech invention from him to shape the digital world.
