On the 23rd of May 2022, GameStop announced that it has launched its digital wallet. This wallet will allow gamers and others to store, send, receive, and use cryptos and NFTs across decentralized apps without having to leave their web browsers.
How to Create a Wallet?
- First, download the GameStop Wallet from wallet.gamestop.com. It’s available for Google Chrome and the Brave web browser.
2. The GameStop Browser Extension Wallet is easy to use. Simply click “Create Wallet”, and then write down your Secret Phrase.
This is very important – your Secret Phrase is the only way to recover your wallet. GameStop does not have access to reset access to your wallet.
3. Adding funds, then activating Layer 2. If you already have a wallet on another app, you may want to migrate it rather than creating a new wallet.
How do you set up a browser extension wallet?
Install it from the Chrome Web Store, then open your extension tray (the puzzle icon next to your address bar), and “pin” the new GameStop Wallet icon that appears by clicking the pin icon. Click Create Wallet.
