Samsung Electronics -Connecting The World

Samsung Electronics has added to its SmartThings features, introducing the SmartThings station, which gives users a wider room to remotely control home-use Samsung appliances, placing homeowners as the operators over home-based devices from any distance.

The company has announced its new partnership and vision to reduce carbon emissions for home-use appliances by 2050.

Samsung is also part of the founders of the Home Connectivity Alliance (HCA). HCA is a fifteen-membership organization dedicated to promoting the safe and secure use of appliances through interoperability and proper energy consumption.

SmartThings station is a centralized and integrated control device that supports multiple device connections concurrently; the device is designed with up to 15W wireless charging capacity for compatible devices.

With the SmartThings station, users can program up to three different to-do items for connected mobile gadgets and also locate misplaced smartphones in the home; when the SmartThings button is pushed, connected smartphones ring out. The SmartThings station is used remotely via the SmartThing mobile App.

Samsung Electronics is targeted towards enhancing sustainability through the interoperable use of tech home gadgets. The centralized control spans through the six SmartThings services; Clothing Care, Air Care, Pet Care, Home Care, Air Care, Cooking and Energy.

SmartThings Cooking

SmartThings Cooking service finds recipes and automatically sets appliances to itemize and preserve food items, suggesting personalized recipes and food timetables. This technology can also communicate with Samsung’s smart kitchen appliances.

SmartThings Energy

SmartThings Energy helps manage energy consumption by turning on energy-saving mode on devices to save cost and power consumption with sufficient real-time information. It reports power usage and predicts future power usage using AI.

SmartThings Clothing Care

SmartThings Clothing Care offers sartorial suggestions based on current seasons and user preferences to remind users to purchase certain laundry supplies.

SmartThings Pet Care

SmartThings Pet Care can automatically control home gadgets such as TV, speakers, bulb lights, air purifier and air conditioners to keep a good atmosphere when no one is around. Samsung Bespoke Jet Bot AI+ camera helps to keep an eye on your pet, so you can still see your pet even when you are away.

SmartThings Air Care

SmartThings Air Care monitors and purifies air quality inside and outside the home and provides details on the air quality when requested by the user.

SmartThings Home Care

SmartThings Home Care keeps track of all connected Samsung household gadgets; it sends maintenance tips and aids in troubleshooting.

In addition, SmartThings Harman Ready Care uses the machine learning algorithm to gather and process data from the car’s sensor to detect the driver’s alertness when driving. All the magic is designed to do is to create State-of-the-home with just a touch of a simple button. Do you now see the picture of a robotic home?
