Technological Trends To Expect In 2023

The world as we know it is changing fast, and technology is at the forefront of this change, creating unthinkable realities and making many things that were thought impossible now possible.

For a business or organization to maintain a competitive edge, it has to implement one of these technologies in the coming months. To that effect, here are Five technologies of 2023 that should not be ignored.

Digital Universe

The metaverse is no longer a theory, as it now has a feel to it and can be experienced as a whole. Today, we can do things in the digital world in ways that affect the real world, and we can also recreate anything in the real world in the digital world. This year, not just non-living things will experience that, but also living and breathing individuals with the help of genomics and other advanced reality technologies.

Artificial Intelligence

AI is not new, but this technology is set to improve in 2023. The CEO of Google, Sundar Pichai, says that “Artificial Intelligence is more important than fire or electricity in terms of how much it will benefit society.”

His words seem to be coming to reality as currently there is an AI algorithm for hundreds of tasks such as ChatGPT, an AI that solves anything, Timely, an AI that tracks time and makes the best time management schedule, Do Not Pay, an AI that helps in legal appeals, etc.

Apart from the already-seen uses of AI around us, we should expect more problem-solving algorithms this year. In 2023, more AI solutions will be created to help workers do their jobs easier and faster.

High Internet Connectivity

The 6th generation (6G) of the internet is upon us, and high-speed internet will be provided. It is a network of connected sensors and devices that collects the data we need to build the metaverse, train intelligent machines, and communicate with one another in the best way possible. Data will be transmitted in gigabytes per second. How cool is that?

Web3 Technologies

Trust in digital processing will continue to be built via the use of Web3, which allows us to store and record data on the blockchain. Many institutions will benefit from the services that Web3 has to offer, such as faster and more secure transactions, decentralized systems, etc. Web3 will also help us manage our digital identity in a safe and secure digital environment.

Robotic Automation

These days, we don’t need to watch movies to see fully functional robots. Tech billionaire, Elon Musk has announced that in 2023 the Optimus robot will be “worth more than the car business, worth more than FSD.” Apart from Optimus, other robots will be launched this year, as a report claims that the creation of humanoid robots will increase tenfold.

Amongst all the listed technologies, which are you most anticipating?
