Africa Tech Summit, 2022

African Tech Summit is a significant tech event where African tech associates which involve startups, tech entrepreneurs, business moguls, and investors across Africa, connect and network. It serves the primary purpose of Connecting, Exploring, and Investing. 

The just-concluded summit held December 8, 2021, was held at the London Stock exchange. It focused on tech and investment globally.  

The fourth edition of the African Tech Summit will take place on the 23rd and 24th of February 2022 in Nairobi, Kenya, following successful summits held in Rwanda. 

WHAT TO EXPECT. 

According to the official blog of the African Tech Summit, the two-day summit will explore tech in Kenya and other African countries with 500 delegates, 350 companies, and three summits. The summit will be focusing on three tracks which include; 

  • The  Africa Money & DeFi Summit; to connect tech leaders on opportunities in Decentralized Finance (DeFi). There would be insights on how to connect Fintech and DeFi across Africa. 
  • The Africa Start-Up Summit; to connect stakeholders and tech entrepreneurs for investment opportunities and to drive business investment forward. 
  • The Africa Mobile Summit; to provide opportunities alongside telecom operators, regulators, and innovators for the mobile and digital landscape in Africa.
