Metaverse Group Is Investing $1million in Superworld

Metaverse Group is a virtual land developer, essentially the first virtual real estate company focused on the metaverse economy in the world.

It has its global headquarters in Crypto Valley in Decentraland. Also, It has expanded globally and now consists of several firms focused on diverse areas of the metaverse industry. 

Metaverse group is expanding its reach in virtual real estate by investing about 1 million dollars in the SuperWorld.

Superworld is an augmented reality (AR) virtual world that allows users to buy and sell versions of global landmarks, like Mount Rushmore, the Great Wall of China, and more. 

It has virtually mapped out the Earth’s surface. It offers more than 64 billion unique plots of land for purchase, cluster, and curation. 

These lands are represented as non-fungible tokens that resemble physical-world spaces. Thus, allowing people to own virtual versions of significant landmarks such as the Paris’ Arc de Triomphe or the Sydney Opera House and regular parts of the world. 

An initial investment of $250,000 is required to purchase plots of virtual land on the SuperWorld platform featuring augmented reality content. 

A plot ‍of NFT land on SuperWorld translates to the real-life equivalent of a 100m x 100m space, or approximately the size of a sports stadium.

Currently, metaverse virtual land deals are running into millions of dollars as companies search for potentially lucrative deals to advertise or host spaces in the 3-D world. 

According to Metaverse Group CEO Lorne Sugarman in a statement,“This partnership will bring a larger brand marketing opportunity for businesses looking to enter the metaverse.”

Metaverse Group’s Token.com emerged as a significant player in the market last year. It’s responsible for one of the most expensive virtual land deals recorded and its $2.43million acquisition of parcels in Decentraland.

Decentraland is a virtual blockchain-based 3-D world where lands can be acquired and monetized.
