Maserati, the automobile company that has existed for more than a century, announced that it would begin the production of fully electric cars that will be launched in the coming years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This decision by Maserati makes them the first and only Italian luxury automobile brand to go fully electric. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The all-new Maserati GranTurismo Folgore <\/strong>will go on sale in the spring of 2023 and is the first step to achieving that dream. The vehicle is going to be released in both electric and petroleum versions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\t\n\t\tAbout The Car<\/strong><\/span>\n\t<\/span>\n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The GranTurismo is Maserati’s idea of combining racetrack and road. “Folgore” is the name of the all-electric version of Maserati. It weighs 2260 kilograms and is designed beautifully to house its drivers in a warm embrace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\t\n\t\tSpeed  <\/strong><\/span>\n\t<\/span>\n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The speed of the new Maserati models is still top-notch; the car can go from 0 to 60 mph in 2.6 seconds, and it also has a top speed of more than 200 mph. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\t\n\t\tInterior  <\/strong><\/span>\n\t<\/span>\n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Most of the materials used to design the interior of the Maserati Turismo Folgore are environmentally friendly, such as the upholstery, which is made from recycled fishing nets recovered from the ocean. The four-seater car is incredibly comfortable for four adults in a posh cabin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\t\n\t\tCapacity  <\/strong><\/span>\n\t<\/span>\n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The GranTurismo Folgore has a very high engine capacity powered by three electric motors at 750 horsepower that is evenly distributed to the car’s four wheels.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\t\n\t\tBattery<\/strong><\/span>\n\t<\/span>\n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Maserati GranTurismo Folgore takes 10 minutes to charge from 0% to 100% with an ultra-fast charger. The 93 KW\/h batteries are cleverly packaged down the transmission tunnel and in a T shape across the floor. The batteries can provide around 230 miles of driving range when the car is fully charged. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The GranTurismo is the first “Folgore” (electric vehicle) of the MC 20 supercar, and the other versions will follow and have an EV version by 2025, and by 2030, there will be no more petrol-driven Maserati automobiles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
