The Meta-owned company, in July 2022, reacted to these criticisms, saying it would temporarily reduce the number of recommended posts that pop up while working to improve its personalization tools. However, these suggested posts will eventually increase and be more personalized to users&#8217; interests. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nonetheless, if you would rather not have recommended posts pop up on your IG main feed while you scroll, here&#8217;s how to turn it off for 1 Month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"is-style-cnvs-list-styled wp-block-list\">\n<li>Scroll through your main IG feed until you encounter a&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;recommended post.&#8221;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tap the X at the top right corner<\/strong>;
