{"id":4166,"date":"2022-11-10T02:18:33","date_gmt":"2022-11-10T02:18:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gospeedhub.com\/?p=4166"},"modified":"2022-11-10T02:18:35","modified_gmt":"2022-11-10T02:18:35","slug":"quantum-computing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gospeedhub.com\/blogs\/quantum-computing\/","title":{"rendered":"Quantum Computing"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As we all know, new technologies emerge every day, and quantum computing is here to bring another method of computing built on quantum physics theory.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But what is quantum physics?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quantum physics is simply the physics of minute objects, meaning it describes the behavior of atoms and fundamental particles ( such as electrons and protons). Quantum computers are advanced machines inspired by quantum physics, meaning they operate by simply studying the behavior of these particles.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In traditional digital computers, information is encoded in the form of bits. A bit is in one of two forms, either 0 or 1, and this bit is used to make computational calculations and decisions; in quantum computers, this bit is known as a &#8220;qubit&#8221; or &#8220;quantum bit,&#8221; which is kept at near zero kelvin.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unlike the conventional 0 and 1 value, it spins in values between 0 and 1. Quantum computers are here to solve multiple-variable problems at a faster speed and even more accurately than conventional computers, but in some cases, they might be slower than supercomputers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quantum computing is currently in use in various sectors to improve services such as;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"banking\" class=\"cnvs-block-section-heading cnvs-block-section-heading-1668045594987 is-style-cnvs-block-section-heading-13 halignleft\" >\n\t<span class=\"cnvs-section-title\">\n\t\t<span><strong>Banking&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span>\n\t<\/span>\n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This type of computing can be used to create private keys that are strongly encrypted from one point to the next so that hackers cannot secretly copy the key before it gets to the receiver. It is currently being tested and approved by world-leading banks like Barclays, JP Morgan, etc.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"healthcare\" class=\"cnvs-block-section-heading cnvs-block-section-heading-1668045599508 is-style-cnvs-block-section-heading-13 halignleft\" >\n\t<span class=\"cnvs-section-title\">\n\t\t<span><strong>Healthcare&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span>\n\t<\/span>\n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In medicine, the design and analysis of molecules for drug creation have been complex in recent times, but a quantum computer can do better because it operates using the same molecules it is trying to compute, making future large-scale production of drugs for diseases easier and faster, which in turn will save many lives.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"machine-learning\" class=\"cnvs-block-section-heading cnvs-block-section-heading-1668045604362 is-style-cnvs-block-section-heading-13 halignleft\" >\n\t<span class=\"cnvs-section-title\">\n\t\t<span><strong>Machine Learning&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span>\n\t<\/span>\n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Various machine learning services, such as facial and voice recognition software, could scan exponentially more neural networks at once and deliver results faster.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All these possibilities in quantum computing will no longer be just theory but will be possible soon, as the President of NTT Research, Kazuhiro Gomi, said he expects all these applications to become a reality and part of our everyday lives in at most a decade.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although quantum computers still look like a thing of the future, they might have some limitations that will come with them.
