{"id":4078,"date":"2022-10-28T21:42:56","date_gmt":"2022-10-28T21:42:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gospeedhub.com\/?p=4078"},"modified":"2022-10-28T21:42:57","modified_gmt":"2022-10-28T21:42:57","slug":"mastercard-crypto-trading","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gospeedhub.com\/blogs\/mastercard-crypto-trading\/","title":{"rendered":"Mastercard To Help Banks Offer Crypto Trading"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Security and regulatory compliance are the two major reasons banks avoid cryptocurrency; now, MasterCard is taking up that responsibility and bridging the gap between banking and cryptocurrency.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On October 17, Mastercard introduced a program called &#8220;Crypto Source&#8221; to enable financial institutions to provide safe crypto trading capabilities and services to their customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The payment giant&#8217;s new program will connect crypto trading with banks in partnership with Paxos, a regulated and licensed crypto trading platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Paxos, which already offers similar services to PayPal, will manage trading and custody, while MasterCard will manage regulatory compliance and security, like verifying transactions, preventing money laundering, and monitoring identities.
